Marathon Capital Participates in West Coast Renewable Energy Finance Forum

CHICAGO, June 30, 2010 – Marathon Capital will be present in San Francisco for the 3rd annual Renewable Energy Finance Forum - West (REFF-West). This event brings together the largest gathering of senior renewable energy finance professionals on the West Coast. The 2010 REFF-West forum takes place from September 29-30 at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco. Marathon Capital's CEO Ted Brandt is again acting as a Conference Co-Chair for REFF-West.

Last year, over 400 industry executives and investors attended REFF-West. This year, the conference will focus on the renewable energy markets on the West Coast of North America. There will be particular focus on the opportunities for private equity and venture capital in clean tech energy companies as well as a detailed review of the latest technologies likely to create a step change in the industry.

"Marathon Capital attended the recent REFF Wall Street and it was a huge success," said Ted Brandt, CEO of Marathon Capital. "We are just as excited to participate in REFF-West, the unique event that unites high profile West Coast players with major policy and project financiers from across the US. Marathon Capital is eager to share our perspective on the changing marketplace and our insights about the future of renewable energy finance."

Along with Brandt, the Conference Co-Chair, Marathon Capital's attendees will include Gregg Elesh, Chief Investment Officer. All conference attendees will examine the prospects for financing the scale-up of innovation and the growth of renewables across the West Coast.
