Bob Braasch is Principal - Chief Financial Officer for Marathon Capital with overall responsibility for the finance and operational aspects of the company including: financial reporting, systems, documentation, investor reporting, legal interaction, compliance, banking, collections and client services. Previous to Marathon Capital, Mr. Braasch has had extensive experience in corporate finance, banking and operations within a financial environment, with special emphasis in risk management, funding and capital structuring. At a series of financial companies including LaSalle Bank, Household Finance Corporation and several medium-sized companies, Mr. Braasch held senior management positions including treasurer, chief financial officer, president and has served as a director for several public, private and not-for-profit corporations. |
During this career he successfully negotiated initial public offerings, a series of domestic and international debt placements, and executed numerous acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Braasch is a graduate of DePaul University and the ABA Graduate Commercial Lending School. Mr. Braasch holds his Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 licenses and is qualified as a Dealing Representative and Chief Compliance Officer in Canada. |
