Sid Sinha, Vice President, has a decade of domestic and international experience in the energy industry across the power, midstream and upstream spectrum. At Marathon Capital, he focuses on the power and alternative energy sectors and brings to bear his extensive transactional and industry experience in helping energy clients find the best solutions to their financing and strategic needs.
Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Mr. Sinha was a Vice President at JPMorgan working in the Power, Utilities and Alternative Energy investment banking group. He worked on several significant wind financing and wind M&A transactions as well as various deals in the utility, IPP, LNG and gas LDC space. He was also involved in evaluating gasification, storage, transmission and other energy infrastructure projects for clients. Prior to JPMorgan, Mr. Sinha worked at Deutsche Bank's Energy & Utilities group focusing on power, utility and midstream companies and worked on a variety of equity and debt capital raising transactions.

Mr. Sinha began his career as an oilfield engineer for Baker Hughes in Texas and subsequently worked in multiple international locations in Asia-Pacific and Australia. He possesses a deep understanding of energy from an operational and financial perspective allowing him to understand the needs of his energy clients and work with them to develop financial and strategic solutions.
Mr. Sinha received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and his Masters of Business Administration with a major in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Sinha holds his Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
