Marathon Capital Prepares to Attend Key Renewable Energy Finance Forum

CHICAGO-April 15, 2010 – A diverse team from Marathon Capital will head to New York for the 7th annual Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street (REFF-Wall Street). Each year, this event attracts visionaries, financiers and investors from across the country to debate vital industry issues and discuss the future of renewable energy finance. The 2010 forum takes place from June 29-30 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.

Last year, almost 700 senior decision makers representing 20 countries attended REFF-Wall Street. The event's planners predict an even more impressive turnout for 2010. REFF Wall Street will focus on the latest policy developments across major renewable energy sectors and will reveal which sectors are most likely to attract finance in the current economy. In addition to a wide variety of pertinent industry topics, expert panelists will also confer about how the increasing involvement of big energy and agribusiness is expected to alter the market with increasing consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, and a changing role for major industry players.

"Marathon Capital is excited to attend REFF-Wall Street," said Ted Brandt, CEO of Marathon Capital. "As a meeting place for high profile Wall Street investors and renewable energy project developers, REFF-Wall Street is the ideal setting for networking, deal making, discussion and debate. We are eager to share our ideas for future industry growth and our interpretation of current market conditions."

Along with Brandt, Marathon Capital's Gregg Elesh, Chief Investment Officer will be in attendance. From new government initiatives to cutting-edge investment strategies, conference attendees will learn where money will be made, how to overcome recent constraints on raising capital, and the sectors that most interest financiers in this economy.
